Primary School Sports Hall
Maple sports flooring restored with new court markings and a slip-resistant sports lacquer.
About this project
The school's maple sports hall floor had become slippery and the court markings had worn away. The work had to be completed during the school holidays.
We sanded the whole floor back to bare timber with dust-free machines, then repaired a small number of damaged boards near the stage. Fresh court lines were painted in before sealing.
A slip-resistant sports lacquer system provides grip and long-lasting protection. We handed the hall back on time, along with simple maintenance advice for the caretaker.
